If you’re in the mood for a fluffy Super Bowl appetizer, a host of adorable pups take the field and will undoubtedly warm your heart during the 2022 Puppy Bowl! Hosted by Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, the annual explosion of cuteness once again takes place hours before the Super Bowl as Team Ruff and Team Fluff feature more than 100 adoptable puppies from 67 shelters and rescues across 33 states.

From discovery+ to Animal Planet, there are a variety of ways to stream this year’s Puppy Bowl, so let’s get down to business. What time is the Puppy Bowl on today? Where can you watch Puppy Bowl 2022 live online? Here’s everything you need to know.

The Puppy Bowl features two teams of dogs: Team Ruff and Team Fluff. Last year, Team Ruff completed a fourth-quarter comeback to win in a game that was much more high-scoring than the Super Bowl, winning 73-69.

The event will be hosted by Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart, who will also “coach” some of the dogs. Steve Levy and Sage Steele will call the game, while Jill Rappaport, Kristen Bell, and Valerie Bertinelli will be featured in the show’s “Pup Close and Personal” segments.

Great question! The Super Bowl itself is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff, and the halftime show commences shortly after the second quarter ends. NBC estimates that should be just after 8 p.m. ET, so audiences can expect the show to begin sometime between 8-8:30 p.m. ET, approximately 90 minutes after kickoff.

In addition to the on-field action, the Puppy Bowl features a halftime show with kittens, who play with various lights, lasers and toys for 30 minutes. Like the dogs that compete, the kittens are adoptable as well.

Steve Levy and Taylor Rooks will provide play-by-play coverage of the event. The pregame starts at 1:00 p.m. ET on Animal Planet, followed by the big game at 2:00 p.m.
